Sie haben eine Bewerbung erhalten, die eine Privatperson mit Hilfe einer Software verfasst und aus ihrem eigenen E-Mail-Konto versandt hat. Die Software hat dafür die von Ihrem Unternehmen veröffentlichte Bewerbungsadresse verwendet.

• Verarbeitete Daten: Ihre veröffentlichte Bewerbungsadresse sowie der Inhalt Ihrer Antwort, damit die bewerbende Person den Verlauf ihrer Bewerbung nachvollziehen kann.
• Zweck: die einzelne Bewerbung dieser Person. Es findet keine Weitergabe an Dritte und keine Nutzung zu Werbezwecken statt.
• Speicherdauer: bis die bewerbende Person ihr Konto löscht, längstens 24 Monate nach der letzten Aktivität.
• Widerspruch: Antworten Sie der bewerbenden Person mit dem Hinweis, dass Sie keine weiteren Bewerbungen wünschen; Ihre Adresse wird dann nicht mehr angeschrieben. Sie erreichen ausserdem [email protected].

Information for recipients

You have received a job application that a private individual wrote with the help of software and sent from their own email account. The software used the application address your company has published.

• Data processed: your published application address and the content of your reply, so the applicant can follow the progress of their application.
• Purpose: this person’s individual application only. No sharing with third parties, no marketing.
• Retention: until the applicant deletes their account, at most 24 months after the last activity.
• Objection: reply to the applicant stating that you do not wish to receive further applications; your address will then no longer be contacted. You can also reach [email protected].

HoijobBot: how Hoijob reads company websites

So that job seekers can see what a company does and where to apply, Hoijob reads a few public pages of company websites: the home page, the Impressum, the contact and careers pages, at most one benefits page and at most one applicant-tracking page the careers page links to. It identifies itself as HoijobBot/1.0 (+https://hoijob.ch/notice), follows robots.txt, waits at least one second between two requests to a website and makes at most 12 requests per company. It keeps the company’s published role addresses (for example jobs@ or info@), phone numbers, links to its own LinkedIn and kununu pages, open roles and a short description. It does not build lists of named employees.

To opt out, add User-agent: HoijobBot and Disallow: / to your robots.txt (it is read again at least once a day), or write to [email protected].
